Just a few strange news items this week. However, Mr. Mike got a new ride. It is a 1955 Studebaker Commander. Back in his younger days he owned Studebakers and an Avanti. This car was registered from 1955-1999. It will need work before hitting the road. Before you scrounge your garage for Stude parts, read Food Scrounge News.

/ July 26, 2013Reminds me of Christine. Hopefully you won’t suffer similar issues. How are you going to get it going? Who’s going to do the work? I could do up cars when I was 18 but now I wouldn’t know where to start

/ July 26, 2013You know, it is that male-car bonding thing. A neighbor graciously let him park it on their side lot. Mr. Mike will do most of the work (it will keep him out of trouble) and have a local mechanic do the rest. I’m looking forward to riding in it for the annual “Cruisin’ the Coast” (see last October’s posts).
